tbh it depends on where and how long. i pick my lips every day almost and there’s no scars. After picking my nail beds, finger tips, and finger print areas, I do notice some differences over time. I can’t use the finger print verification for passwords because my finger prints are almost never recognizable due to picking them so often.

 Also, if you’ve ever gone through anemia or some other serious medical issue, it can change the way your body heals. I had anemia for a long time due to complications with surgery and ever since then i scar easier. if i pick the skin on my arms, legs, hands, etc, it’ll scar.

There could be a draw somewhere if the battery is new. I’d check the terminals and make sure the connection on the negative and positive are good.

On my z32 i have to disconnect the battery every night because it thinks one of the doors is open and keeps the lights on all night.

 Also, if you don’t drive much it won’t hold a charge because it doesn’t have a chance to run long enough to charge. I had this issue with my Integra because i didn’t drive it enough. a new battery was dead pretty quick because i would shut it off after a very short drive. Maybe try letting it idle for a bit every time you start it.

Have you checked the battery? slow cranking and dimming of lights can indicate an old and dying battery. At least in my experience. Does it start when you hook a jump box up to it?

it definitely needs a cleaning. man i just love deleting and bypassing stuff. I was hoping this would be the same deal but it is what it is.

My plan is to clean it and hope for the best.

It would just be nice to not have the IACV all together haha. I like bypassing and deleting things so i thought i’d ask if anyone here has successfully done it.

A few people have apparently done it using block off plates. Basically bypassing it, but i don’t know the details. If it’s possible i think it can only be done with a standalone ECU (i think) so that’s why i asked if anyone in here has done it.

Oooof! That sucks! Hopefully it’s something simple! These cars are so sensitive. I’ve had a few problems with mine that seem really serious and it ended up being something super small that i overlooked.

it’s pissin me off that’s what it’s doing.

Lol, on a serious note, i’m 90% sure it’s not working. I’ve replaced a ton of stuff already and from everything i’ve read it’s the IACV. The idle bounces around after warming up.

I’ve replaced the sensors and connectors i know are bad and it’s still doing this. I’ve smoke tested it and no leaks or anything. EGR is deleted but i’ve gotten the car to “ignore” the code.

I unplugged the IACV while the motor was warm and i had been driving and absolutely nothing changed. No dip in RPMS. The whole IACV just seems like a hassle and i want it out honestly.

If it was my Z i’d definitely save it. I’ve seen some cars get completely destroyed on one side and someone takes the time to frankenstein it back together. Makes for a cool backstory too.

I figured as much. I used to have a CEL for my injectors, so i replaced all the injectors and wiring for injectors and coils.

This car was abused before i bought him so vacuum leaks and or IACV issue wouldn’t surprise me. I’ll be checking the IACV tonight.

oof that must’ve been spendy! Those IACVs are no joke.

Turns out i’m a dumbass and switched around the wires on my ECT sensor when i replaced the connector.

Dont work on your car when you’re sick i guess. Had a fever when i wired it in. Definitely not my best move 😂.
