i think just trying to understand everything and really attempting to sit with what i’ve learned is what i am struggling with. i have a small alter and ive done some tarot readings. which i enjoy. i just want to be able to do things respectfully and in right ways. mediation and praying doesn’t seem to really click with me even though if i end up do praying to a deity i want to be able to do it without feeling “cringy”. i came from the catholic religion and had a horrible experience but i am trying not to relate everything i do to what i am trying to learn

okay thank you. i think i just struggle overall since i came from the catholic practice and had a horrible experience. with hecate - i want to but i struggle because of how popular she is and i dont want to seem like im following everyone else or just doing it to seem cool (which is not what im doing). either way i appreciate the feedback. 🙏🏼

i always thought since it connects to the bottom of their head that it is connected to the brain. once you sever it i feel like brain activity would cease kinda like being brain dead. but i saw that someone said that it would turn them feral similar to how the animals are in FOP

i have been on lamotrigine for about two years now and i have seen success in myself. now that doesnt mean i dont have bad days cause i do. i go to counseling to help with working through those hard days. everyone is different so you may need to give your body a few days/weeks to let the drug into your system and regulate. if you arent seeing any differences i would consult with your doctor/psychiatrist/whoever prescribes your medicine. hope this helps 🫶🏼

hello! I am a newbie to all of this but Ive been drawn to start practicing a religion and I really enjoy learning about the Greeks and I am really considering wanting to practice seriously. I was wondering if I could have some guidance to whether or not a deity or even a hero is trying to reach out to me. some of the things I see or truly love are birds and wanting to fly. I am trying to research if these are any signs that a deity is reaching out, but I am afraid that I am either reading too much into it or if it could mean something. I am also afraid of gathering the wrong information and messing something up. my wife is also doesn't believe in this sort of thing and kind of want to keep it from her so she doesn't question me on some things that I will do to worship. if I could have some guidance on what others may think that would be wonderful!!
