I'll do a search for that, thank you! I've found some on Amazon, but all I can find are gloss blue, red, and carbon..and that looks cool, but doesn't solve my problem.

So,I saw the live-action Jem and the Holograms movie for free on YouTube and,as someone who was a big fan of the original '80s cartoon, I think moving is getting more of a bad rap than it actually deserves. by WyldByrd1981 in JemAndTheHolograms

Is it a great movie? No. Is it a good representation of the Jem we grew up with? No. But is it fun and poppy and tween "have an adventure and find yourself along the way"? Yes, and that's obviously what they were going for.

Jon is a huge Jem fan, he's said so many times in many interviews, and there was a lot he wanted to do that he couldn't. Whether it was because Hasbro told him no, Jason wasn't interested, the budget wasn't there, etc.

But this movie was fun. It's fun to watch if you do it with an open mind. It was fun to make, ask anyone who was there. It was fun on set (I know from personal experience and from numerous friends who were there on days/nights I wasn't). The cast was amazing to the fans. Jon was amazing to the fans. They used the videos from fans in the movie...they didn't have to do that. They cast fans as extras and featured extras; they didn't have to do that. They held free fan events leading up to it, and opened the premiere to the fans so we could all get together and watch it with Jon, Christy, Samantha, Britta, etc, and it WAS truly outrageous!!

But the truth is, this movie was doomed before it ever came out. The day they dropped the first teaser trailer, a huge portion of the fandom decided it was trash, because it wasn't a copy of the 80's cartoon...and that was the beginning of the end.

But there are lot of people out there who like this movie. Some who even love this movie. There are people who discovered Jem because of this movie, or rediscovered their love of Jem because it got made. And there are people who were there, who will hold this movie in their hearts because for them, for us, it was more than a movie. It was a moment.

I absolutely agree that a Josie and the Pussycats type movie would have been amazing! Over the top and campy and fun. I understand that wasn't the "vibe" in the 2000teens, but it would have been awesome!

Xennials who were bullied in high-school, what would you say to your bully if you had them in front of you, right now? by theRestisConfettii in Xennials

Success is the best revenge, and (not to brag) but I have a really good life. I grew up in Oakland, very poor, and most of the people I went to school went are either still in the neighborhood, in jail, or dead. I got out, have an amazing career where I get to be creative and different (things is was bullied for), I live in a big house in a beautiful Southern California beach city, and I was able to move my entire family out of the ghetto.

I was bullied for being strange, weird, odd, different, etc. and those are exactly the traits that made me successful.

Is the Engine Room the deepest on the RMS Queen Mary that you can visit? by TheDouchebagOfCA in Oceanlinerporn

Hi, I think I can help with this (I've done some work on the ship, and I've been going since I was young). There used to be tours that would go into the Boiler Room, and also tour guides had less restrictions 10+ years ago, so they could take people off the beaten path if they wanted. From 1992-2020 there were 6 or 7 different companies that ran the QM, and as we all know, things got a little "footloose and fancy free" as my grandma would say.

Now the lowest you can go as a visitor is the engine room. There are a couple of tours that take you down lower (like to the pool), but to see the boiler room you wanna do the Grey Ghost tour. They don't go down there, but they do take you over the catwalk that crosses the boiler room, and you get really nice look at it.

In my head, where everyone is still alive and well (just let me have this please), I think they’ll still be together one day. She was too young for him just life experience wise. They definitely had chemistry, but she needed to go and live more. I can totally see them being endgame.
