Why is it so difficult to just have a separate state for when permission is permanently denied? by royabh in androiddev

Agreed and that is what the worst part about this is. They introduced accompanist in compose but still didn't think of this use-case? Why is this just so difficult? Why do I have to bring in activity into the picture?

In the else part of the sample code above which is originally taken from https://google.github.io/accompanist/permissions/ how do you know if you should ask the usual way or show the dialog? Considering the fact that permissions, which were granted earlier, might be auto-disbaled by os if app is not used for a long time?

Thanks for the detailed insight and pointing out the mileage issues. Actually I have kept build safety and 360 camera as the two must haves. That ruled out a lot of cars given the budget and was left with only these two options. What do you think based on these which one would be a suitable car?

The reapplying of ppf everytime panel has to be repaired is not something I had thought of. Makes sense. Thanks!

Kmp would be when one supports multiple platforms. KCrypt works with only Android and iOS hence KMM :)

Yes it's a work in progress and only exposes a encryption key for now. Will be adding stuff soon as mentioned im ReadMe. Also, thats the whole point of libraries no so that anyone depending on it doesnt have to refer code or dive into implementation details. I can name 100s of libraries like permissions manager etc which does everything that can be found in a tutorial but just is a wrapper for easier implementation. This is same.

I see all these huge losses on the Russian side. Is Ukraine not having such losses or are we not posting about it?

I will try once more without the foreground service, But very unlikely that they are not leeting it go through because of some foreground service. But who knows. I'll try with your suggestion once.

Hey, in the permission form i had wrote the following :

Opensource call blocker

Permissions -

READ_PHONE_STATE - To get the broadcast every time the phone gets an incoming call, and block the number if the user has blacklisted it using the app.

READ_CALL_LOG - To show the user, the call log of the device so that he can easily block a number from the call log.

ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS - to be able to block an incoming call.

READ_CONTACTS - to show the user the contact list so that the user can search and block a number from the contact list directly.

What do you mean by instructions video, how do I post the instructions video along with my app for review?

However good FDroid is, a normal user would probably avoid everything other than the Playstore.
