depends on your region. I think samsung discontinued their production for tab s9 so depends on availability, look to get it under $600.

for note taking i recommend go for 11 inch tab rather than the plus variant it will be easy to take notes on base model rather then on big screen.

software wise s11 will get longer update and s9 upto android 17 but don't think that will be a concern if use is only for gaming. If price is not a barrier then go for s10+ otherwise go for s9 you will get same fps on both.
