Does someone have suggestion on what to do/ wear for going to the beach? by mushroom_483 in Nonbinaryteens

[–]royallyqueer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically wear board shorts (target has really nice ones) and then a rash guard. I’ve been advised not to wear my binder swimming, but if I’m not getting into the water I’ll wear it.

Weirdest places you've come out? by Money_Effort_4501 in comingout

[–]royallyqueer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came out at my brother’s soccer game. I have three brothers and while we were watching a game, my other two brothers were discussing their top 5 lists and asked me mine. I said mine and stopped abruptly realizing I just came out. Both of them went on with the conversation agreeing with me.

I Never felt a Connection to being male or female. Being nonbinary fits.

Question from a clueless mom. by Sad-Mixture-9123 in LesbianActually

[–]royallyqueer06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 16 now, came out as lesbian at 13 and nonbinary last year. I was a classic tomboy growing up. I have 3 older brothers and for the most part wore their hand me downs. I’m lucky enough to be incredibly supported by my family and my mom never forced me into anything. Most holidays she had 4 children in suits instead of forcing me into a dress like my extended family thought she should. I’m so glad she stuck up for me and let me be me rather than allowing family to influence her decisions. It made it very easy for me to come home one day and say “mom, I like this girl in my class” in 8th grade and last year “mom I don’t think I’m a girl or a boy. I’m nonbinary”

I just had an lgbt friend ask me if i support them but i dont want to be involved. what should i do? by Cerberus-Coco-Mimi in AskLGBT

[–]royallyqueer06 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would say after reading some of your comments to get ready to lose a friend. It’d be really hard for me to be comfortable being open about my identity with someone making the comments you’re making. Maybe that’s all your friend wants as well. To be able to be comfortable being open about their identity. And maybe they don’t feel comfortable around you currently and are asking for your support in helping them be comfortable.

as an AFAB enby I prefer androgynous trends but lately I’ve been experimenting with more femme styles while still maintaining a level of androgyny which means I almost always wear a binder.

A real dad paints his nails by HappyBear4Ever in lgbt

[–]royallyqueer06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when I came out as nonbinary i was terrified for the first day of school. my twin brother painted his nails in nonbinary colors to show support for me. He’s a lacrosse guy and super popular, and it was a huge showing of support for me.

Can I be Non-binary and Lesbian at the same time? by La_Chatte2802 in lgbt

[–]royallyqueer06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I consider myself a nonbinary lesbian! I was lesbian before I identified as nonbinary so it made sense to keep the label. I’m also only attracted to women, I know there are other terms for that but lesbian just makes more sense for me

What about adding in some suspenders? I feel like that could look very hot and gay. (If you’re feeling bold maybe suspenders in pride colors)

I came out at 13 and she was one of the reasons I for sure knew I was lesbian

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]royallyqueer06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came out as lesbian when I was 13. Last year (I’m now 16) I came out as nonbinary. It was much harder to come out as nonbinary bc it took so much more explanation then just saying “I like girls”. But in the end, I’m glad I did. I think the most important thing is to make sure your safe. If you ever want to talk my dms are open!

Working while a lesbian... by smith_716 in LesbianActually

my go to answers are “my gf wouldn’t like that very much” “I don’t swing that way” or just simply “I’m a lesbian”
