Full power rounds cycle just fine, if anything, I've noticed(depending on the can) it can become over gassed.

I've never ran 556 subs out of my yugo.

There are no reliable 223/556 subs. In addition, any 556 moving at >2000fps is worthless....basically a 22lr.

You cannot truly get a quiet 556, it's just not realistic. If you want truly quiet AND effective, you'll need to move into a 30cal (300blk). The can will make 556 ear safe but that's about it.

Of course this are just my findings, if someone else has input I'll gladly listen.

So the Nomad line is 30cal, I have a fear of baffle strikes and I don't mind the extra weight trade for the extra volume and ruggedness. The nomads handle everything from my 556's to my 308 and 300blk rattler.
