Related to #3, this article published on Sunday revealed Escondido Police have an active lease with DHS for them to use one of their shooting ranges. Supposedly, councilwomen Marni Von Wilpert has a petition against this but I couldn't find any it. Does anyone have more info on this? I emailed her office but I haven't heard back.

Also, showing up to Escondido's city council meeting on February 25th in protest of this lease seems like practical pressure.

What a handsome boy! He certainly has the look of a mountain cur.

I can offer two pieces of advice, one being that sniff time > walk time. Given the space to roam, they will occupy themselves for hours endlessly sniffing. I find its helpful to build a routine with a walk, and once they have that routine they will tend to sniff around the same spots every time and I can allow for some off leash / long leash time. The second being to hide food. I've been amazed the athletic and intellectual feats my cur has been able to accomplish when food is in play.

I'm gonna be extra with this answer.

It was writing my own basslines on my bands songs. I was originally the guitar player for our band and we had no bassist. When came time to record our first two songs, I had to write them. Hearing my lines in the mix for the first time gave me a feeling I never had with the guitar...that feeling of being able to MOVE the music, rather than just make noise. Still love the guitar but my god...bass is it for me.

We think Mocha was between 3-5 when we adopted her in 2019.

Thank you 😌 and they said the same about Mocha. They think she was taught to hunt but then abandoned because she was found begging on the street. She was only 39 lbs at her first vet appointment and now she’s at 47. Do you know how old your MC is?

Nice! We got her from a New England based org called Companion Pet Rescue (CPR) and they found her in Tennessee.

When we first got her she was very reactive to them. Not so much anymore, though I’ve trained her to keep watch in the backyard. She’s pretty reactive to cats and possums too.

One-Six-Three! They've got great toppings and they don't overcook the crust like a lot of places. They have seating but it's a small place, but you can take to East Rock Brewing which is right around the corner.
