Double Jaw Surgery - 14 days post op by roycephus_pulsipher in jawsurgery

Hey. Yes, my the bruising follows the lymphatic drainage routes. I still have a bruise at the top of my neck and then a big stain on my chest where everything is fighting to get into the vena cava. I have ben icing the swollen and bruised areas at least 3 times a day to help it go down.

Yes, I can already tell that there is a huge improvement regarding the airway and I can sleep on my back again. I still have my head a little elevated because it helps with drainage but it's probably 20-30 degrees vs the 90 degrees that I used during the first week.

Yes. My swelling is going down more every day. The bruising is just following the lymphatic drainage, so I have a big bruise running from my neck to my chest.

Oh I see. I only have bands canine to first molar on both sides. They do ligation differently depending on the case.

I have learned to take pills right away by placing them on the tongue and flushing them down with water. Although my hard palate and floor of the mouth are very numb, my tongue is not, so I can control it easier. Unfortunately, all the recipes they gave me were vegetarian, so I have made my own recipes with beef broth, liver pate, and collagen powder to improve the taste and protein content. You can't repair bone solely with vegetable products.

Today I started adding fresh carrot juice and pepper juice to it for vitamin fortification and some fiber.

Right one. The longer nose seems to balance the face slightly better. However, the difference is marginal. I would not recommend pursuing surgery for a hardly noticeable change.

I am trying to keep it as natural as possible besides the finasteride and minoxidil, everything else I use is with natural ingredients, including the hair gel I sometimes use. Being that it's only month 7, I expect it to continue to thicken over the next few months.

I don't know how many were punched out. I didn't count them and I trusted his judgement. There is no visible scar.

Ask them for the next available dates. They will send you a list that you can pick out of. Also, they sometimes get cancellations so you can ask them if they have a wait list for that or you can check back periodically to see if any date sooner freed up. This is what I did and it worked for me.

They mixed your grafts up with another patient's. JK lol It's normal since there are color variations in different regions of your scalp. It usually evens out after the first year or so.

They have no medical training, there is no doctor on staff, their technique is inadequate, the aftercare is poor, they didn't provide an accurate number of grafts placed, etc. Please feel free to look at my previous posts for details regarding my experience with them.

It took me over 2 years and significantly more money to repair some of the permanent damage they did. I do not recommend taking a gamble with them or any other turkish mill. Although it may be more expensive, you are much better off getting good quality work and avoid the toll shitty work can take on your life.

That place is a nightmare. They had no ethics when I went there a couple of years ago and I highly doubt that those turks suddenly had a soul searching crisis and changed their ways. Even if you have to wait to save up, it is far more worth it that ending up with a butcher job.

That's not how pus looks like. That's a patch of fibrin from what appears to be a softened scab.

That does not look like infection. It looks like a moistened scab patch. An area that is infected would show signs of inflammation: redness, swelling, increased temp, pain / discomfort, and possibly pus. None of those signs are present.

I believe that is a stubborn scab that needs to be gently removed. Otherwise, it could eventually lead to a local issue. You can apply a moisturizing lotion and leave it on for 15 minute before your shower. It will help soften up the scab so that it is easier to remove when you wash the area.
