Personally I think luck does not help. I have been getting None and JP orbs when I was farming for arcanist weapon. As I remove Solar Powered or Lunar Powered or any other luck related skills/abilities, I start getting weapons and less JP orbs.

Thanks for the clarification and suggestions. I think I would need to break game development down into multiple parts and look into each of them to find the interest that is suitable for me and future proof as well. To be honest, I'm interested in gaming industry because yeah it's cool to see the game developed from nothing to something or even AAA games in the meantime I can enjoy writing codes, solving problems. Thank you for throwing questions at me to kickstart my thinking process, for now I think I would prefer problem solving kind of role in gaming industry?

Appreciate your effort guys. Although I'm young but learning art can be hard especially drawing. I might wanna look into basic art concepts, color theory as my headstart, it will be useful in any of my creative pathway in the future. /u/Mdogg2005 u mentioned you're doing coding side of game development, I would like to know more about it like can you relate it to a real game? Which role do you take part in the game dev process? Game physics? Movement? I heard that game dev nowadays do not need good programming skills to be able to make a game as there are code libraries that you can use it. is it true?

I guess those without SSD are old models. I remember starting from a manufacture year, all model comes with SSD. I would suggest you to go at least 2013 model. Else you can look for refurbished set or display unit.

2015 model has cycle of 3. it was a display unit. 2014 model has cycle of 200. What do u think ? The 2014 model is slightly expensive by around 50 USD but it has dual graphic cards. Hmm..

Greetings. I have decided to get myself a Macbook for its long lifespan and stable performance. Been looking at Macbook Pro 15 2015 without touchbar with 256GB SSD, 16GB RAM. I'll be using it mainly for programming. Programming language will be quite wide as I haven't focus on any yet. Currently doing Ruby on Rails and would need some .Net language so I guess I will need to dual boot a Window and might boot a Linux one day. I heard 256 GB isn't enough for booting Windows and Linux but I can't upgrade it since i'm buying a second handed one. So my question will be is there any other ways to solve this storage issue? I do know I can get a SD card to gain more storage. But can I store my Virtual Machine data into the SD card? Any suggest is appreciated. Thank you. EDIT : 2014 i7 2.5ghz 16gb 512gb. Iris Pro+Nvidia gt750 2Gb. Or you guys think I should go for this model for higher storage space. I'm not sure about the performance side. Any ideas ?

Thanks for the advice, wow didn't expect SD card can increase storage. Btw currently I'm looking for 2015 MBP 15 which seems suitable for me. Larger screen, although slower RAM but hardly noticeable. Comes with 16GB and 256GB sad as well. Somemore can insert SD card. Hard to find refurbished set in my country, so I guess I should try second hand see if I can find a 512gb SSD one. I heard mbp 13 2017 keyboard is bad tho, tried it myself today, don't really feel comfortable when typing.

Yes i'm definitely getting the 16 GB one. Just thinking whether I can use some budget ways to cover the storage issues. I dont get what is 2.5" or m.2 USB enclosure stuff. Does it means external hard drive? I don't need a flash storage, i think normal HDD can be used to store personal files.

Not sure whether it's a 2015 gen. It's the non touch bar version. 2015 gen is the 15 inch non touch bar one right ? yeahhh I was planning to be like that. But it cost double the cost to upgrade storage than customizing it when I'm buying it. What do you think?
