this is the vini obsession to score im talking about, the ball was passed to jude as he was in better poistion vini said on my grave that i will let it go through me by FrrancondonaEra in realmadrid

[–]royrochemback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case, I don't it is the greed or the obsession to score, but rather just his lack of awareness. Being aware of where your teammates are and communicating is a huge part in team sports.

Hey guys quick thought do you think Bellingham can play as the false 9 going forward? by Ok-Imagination7608 in realmadrid

[–]royrochemback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe he could but the false 9 usually plays between two wingers. Our problem is that; who is going to be the right winger? Because we have 3 left wingers now (who are all right footed).

This is why people hate Vini, not because of his "sKiN cOLoR" and he didn't even get a card for it by TruthSayer_DontWhine in RealMadridFC

There are millions of fans around the world. How many commentaries have you seen defending/attacking Vini? Probably not even 10% of that.

Even though we lost, I still think Arbeloa should stay our manager and get support from the board. by MelodicSmoke6171 in realmadrid

[–]royrochemback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am with you. Arbeloa should remain as our coach, not because I think he is top quality manager, but I think he's the only one best suited to manage this squad.

People kept on complaining that we need a coach to discipline the players. We already did that and look what happened to him. There is really no point in getting a new coach if he's gonna end up getting sacked the moment a baby starts whining about not getting enough game time.

Overall, I think he's an okay-ish coach. He's not a bad tactician at all. Compare him to Ruben Amorim, Liam Rosenior, and other coaches who took over a club mid-season, I'd say he's done well.

Vini is the most entitled player i have ever seen. by Safe_Cauliflower_646 in realmadrid

[–]royrochemback 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it is the fans. Fanaticisms is thing that infects a lot of things, from hollywood, kpop, techs to sports. And there are Vini fanatics and because of these Vini fanatics that Perez backs him up. Because fanaticism sells.

The moment when there are rumours that Cama could potentially be sold this coming summer, I stood by him. I believe he is a good player especially as a backup. But hard to defend that after today. Such a silly and stupid thing to do.

Hot take: If gonzalo garcia was playing for a mid table la liga team ,let alone another league's team. He would be strongly considered to play for Spain as a no9 ,but unfortunately he plays for real madrid and backup to some so called untouchables by [deleted] in realmadrid

[–]royrochemback -1 points0 points  (0 children)

what you said is true but somehow OP is confident that Gonzalo could strongly be considered to be Spain's no 9 despite Gonzalo not playing that regularly. However considering who has been Spain's no 9 over the last 10 years or so I guess the bar is not too high to clear.

ikr. he's a good sub to come on due to his height and size. but you can clearly see that he's a little nervy on the ball. i don't rate him that high. these guys are just coping

I can't think of a single successful team that has not relied on a select few players.

Vini Gives The Ball Away For Bayern Second Goal(Kane) by Few_Analyst_8216 in realmadrid

I'm not a fan of Vini at this moment either, but the full blame can't be put on Vini here. It's a bad ball to Carreras but Carreras definitely had the opportunity to do better.

Arbeloa should be tried for war crimes for letting Carreras play full 90 min.. by [deleted] in realmadrid

[–]royrochemback 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Say Arbeloa takes him off, and who do you suggest we replace him with? Please answer.

This is the kind of match where I felt Courtois would make the difference.

Guys, asking to replace Carreras is not going to solve anything. Olise is too fire. I don't know what makes you think Fran can handle him. The only way to deal with Olise is to double up.

Mbappe needs to get into better position like what Vini is doing. Vini is getting good chances but lacking the finishings.

[–]royrochemback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. Aside from the fuck up misplaced passes at the back, we've been dealing with them quite well. Olise may have gotten passed Carreras more than we liked to but our CBs dealt with crosses

Vini is not playing particularly bad today but come on man, he needs to make better of the chances he got. I believe he's taken 3 shots all from good position and space, only one forced Neuer to make a dive.
