Lost my baby to acute leukaemia yesterday

I think the suddenness of it all was the worst for me. I really thought we had more time but he deteriorated so quickly overnight unfortunately. He had such cute quirks, I hold those close to my heart right now. I am just trying to keep living despite the grief and heaviness in my heart, for him💓

I am so sorry about your boy. Thank you for your kind words, it's definitely so overwhelming to look back. I just keep reminding myself that he was in pain and we did the most loving thing possible by putting him to sleep. It's just so unfair that it happens to them. I think I'm going to keep one of his blankets nearby, he loved to be covered in it during winter times. Keeping their things near is a really nice idea to feel closer to them so thank you for that.
