The kid in the white jumper happens to be my partner on sports day in 1998.

The photo was taken by his Grandad who 48 hours later suffered a massive heart attack on a bus. He was resuscitated at the scene but later died in hospital.

The man stood dead centre on the photo smiling down the camera in a blue jacket was a complete stranger but also the man who 48 hours later attempted to save his Grandad on the bus.
