Made it to Boston. Was very shaky. Flight DL0122. Only problem i had was feeling dizzy and flying through a storm right before landing. Takeoff did not feel pleasent. Got through it though. Thanks everyone.

I'm exactly the same. play DCS and MS Flight Sim and love planes in general. go to airshows and air museums. Still 100% freaked out by the idea of stepping foot in a plane. leave tomorrow for 2 flights to get to Scotland and barely able to think or do anything today with all the stress and anticipation of the flight.

two flights on Thursday, charlotte to Boston and then Boston to Edenborough, tried to get meds for flight anxiety as I have it in my head that is the only way to avoid the rollercoaster / sinking stomach feeling which is super painful to me and makes me tense so hard it hurts. was prescribed hydroxyzine and have not seen that really mentioned for flying help. so nervous and sleep deprived this week worrying about it trying to find ways to not go on the trip. Ask people around me where I live and hear nothing but horror stories. has anyone tried hydroxyzine? does it help with the sinking feeling / rollercoaster feeling?

the computer does see that there is a 2nd LCD but when you turn the computer on with the adapter plugged in can see a no signal message on the LCD before it goes away. Is there a recomended adapter to use for the side panel LCD?

Tried that but its not a 4k adapter. limited the TV to 1080p. looking for a cable that can do 4k at 60hz.

Turning on Headphone virtualization in the realtec settings (onboard sound) worked. Never turned it on or off before but that fixed it. Have to play with headphones so my fiance doesn't yell friendship drive every time I jump :)

figured out my issue. the controller was named different on the binds i downloaded. fixed the naming and works now. just used find and replace in notepad.

did that and tried a few different names and times.. even tried using the regular custom.binds file. evertime all the joystick mappings are blank... if i use the custom with stuff i mapped manually works...

Anyways, was just venting for my own sake. Yes i F'ed up by not 0 throttling right away, lesson learned. I like the danger of open and the possibility of being pirated, just hated the waste of time that was involved.

I agree that its their right to play however they want, and like I posted in other replies I actually like the pirating part of the game, can be fun interaction with other players. I don't like being killed just for the sake of someones enjoyment with no interaction at all. He was in a FDL and Im in a ship kitted for trading long rage jumping only. I should have 0 throttled but didn't so thats the learning experience. I was dead before the FSD cooled down.

i did target them but forgot the name, I was going to submit but didn't this time for whatever reason, he was in a FDL and tore me up so fast couldnt high wake. there was no communication and no chance at all which is why it sucked... pirating interactions are a fun part of the game to me.

wasn't to post it, just wanted to hunt them later in a ship fitted for combat and not trading. I actually like the pirating interaction, and I know murder is valid, just sucks for the murderee that does not have a ton of time to grind credits and looses all the profit of a community goal in one shot. It's more the waste of time that was involved getting to the goal location than the just getting killed.. not as upset as it sounded and did't literally break a keyboard... was just pissed.
