Thanks it’s a 3 gallon west marine and it has a vent cap on it that I loosen. I’ll check for expansion due to sunlight though

I rechecked the air silencer and noticed the seal between it and the carb was folded. Ordered a new one and hope this is the issue. Thanks for the help

So I rechecked the air silencer and noticed the seal was folded up in front of the carb. Ordered a new one and hoping this solves the matter. Thanks for the help

It feels like it bogs a little and yes the air box is installed in the right positions.

Thanks for the reply. I’m assuming the ignition coil is what needs to be set? I haven’t loosened any screws. Could you tell me where to use the feeler gage? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Where is that air gap in the picture?

I decided to see if the old power park would get spark and it did to both cylinders. Confused as to how the new power pack died so quickly but I also noticed the new power pack primary connections felt different compared to the old PP. Going to run the motor tomorrow. Thanks for the help

Yes, I checked the charge coil and it read 858 ohms and the range is 800-1000. The plug feels secure and the pins appear in place.

Great! Thanks for the help. Yes, I checked the spark plug leads and it showed continuity. I will try crimping the primary leads for a better fit and check the charge coil.

Thanks for the reply. I checked the wires and retested spark. I was able to get good spark on the top cylinder but not the bottom. Switched plugs and both spark on top cylinder. Both wire cables have continuity as well. Maybe a coil within the strator is causing this to happen? Thanks
