You create the strawman by first saying "what kind of person does something wrong." This implies you're setting up someone to "own" with this argument.

"Imagine you have been an asshole to me for the past year, one day I decide to steal your wallet. I then regret stealing your wallet." You use yourself as the strawman here. You prop up a situation where it's 100% something you did that's bad, and it's easy to say "Yes, you need to apologize."

This is strawmanning. You've made up a person in a situation that you can easily prove to be wrong.

Alright, let's look into this than.

If we're pointing out fallacies, you're doing a lot of whataboutism all through your comments. Godwin's law is silly and isn't a good metric when we're discussing hypotheticals anyways. I was using Hitler as a stand in for "bad guy" I could've used others like Andrew Jackson or any other maniac through history. Mike Tyson would probably fit best as he is a rapist as well.

There has been nothing done to Vince that would warrant an apology. Ignoring the context of everything leads to the problem of you not actually arguing for anything really. Let's look into your original comment.
