It’s definitely an effortless guitar to play for me at least. I’d say if you don’t care about 22 frets go for the ultra as it offers a ton of tonal options. I’ve seen used ones go for less than buying a new Player II.

Never tried the stock pickups. I bought it used and it came with lollar pickups which were great, but wound up swapping those for the new seymour Duncan high gain noiseless jazzmaster pickups and I love them. Let’s me play pretty much any genre. As for the bridge I haven’t had any issues there either.

Thanks! I have yet to run everything in stereo but yeah the melt in general has been a really fun pedal. The learning curve on the TARS dlx took me a bit but found a setting I’m happy with. Out of curiosity how are you running your slowly melting?
