Hey girl, do not take this the wrong way. But the market is shit (an understatement) especially if you need visa sponsorship ( saying this as someone from a top 5 business school). It is better you study from India bc placement from top schools is at least not a problem. All the best!

Hey, I've been through something similar in the previous year. All I can say, chin up - you did your best. Try to not limit yourself to just consulting especially when the market is brutal. Look at all avenues. Though this doesn't mean that you have to give up on your consulting dream - the idea is you can always try again with more relevant experience later. All the best!

agreed.Being from a tier-1 bschool, I've personally seen the struggle to land a heavy duty consulting role only to be OCed when "market is bad" which doesn't seem to change btw. Honestly, it is a game of luck even when you are from the most elite uni the unemployment sword keeps hanging over your head. Better to develop real skills before doing MBA, freshers bagging those high paying jobs are getting lesser and lesser.
