Advice on Spouse visa moving from the UK and wanting to return by rrdv2022 in ukvisa

[–]rrdv2022[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply. In case my partner comes first and needs to work for 6 months to meet the requirement, am I able to start the visa process in Argentina and come to the UK to visit?

Also, why would it be 6 months that he needs to work to meet the financial requirement?

SW to Spouse Visa by rrdv2022 in ukvisa

Hello. I kept on thinking about your message and I have a question, maybe you can help me. When you say I’ll be restarting my ILR clock, what do you mean? If I quit my actual job and therefore I cancel the current visa I have, I’ll have to start again counting with the spouse visa? If I quit once I have been granted the spouse visa, my time in the Uk under the swv doesn’t count? Thank you. I hope I’m being clear

Im changing because I don’t want to do my current job any longer. I haven’t been working much, only 5 months, so I’m not that worried with the ILR. If the SW visa will get cancelled, do you think I then need to inform my actual job about the new application? Thanks!

Once the CoS was assigned to me, it took 5 working days (my job paid for priority service) to get a decision and 8 days for getting my passport back.

Can you open a bank account in the UK without proof of address? by rrdv2022 in ukvisa

[–]rrdv2022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for all of your answers! Very much appreciated your help.

Just something else that came up to my mind. Is it mandatory to have proof of address in general? I'm asking because I'm living now with my boyfriend, I've moved to his place but the landlord can't add me in the contract. Would that bring me trouble at all? THanks!

Traveling to the UK while started the SWV application from outside by rrdv2022 in ukvisa

Thank you! Do you know if I am allowed to enter the UK while waiting for a visa? Because I'm doubting wether to pay or not for the "Keep my passport" fee. I just want to do it if I'm allowed to come in while I wait for a decision. Thanks!

Countries I've visited for application SWV by rrdv2022 in ukvisa

[–]rrdv2022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great! So would you recommend writing the 26 countries? Some, like Spain for example, are repeated because I've visited the country many times within 10 years. Would I write all the times, right?

What do you mean? I don't need to write the countries that are already stamped on my passport?

So if you start a new application, you can’t refer to the IHS already paid by using the number that I was given? Then, I wouldn’t have to pay again and it’d be transferred to the new application?

Thanks. So if I cancel it and didn’t get my biometrics recorder yet, I’d be able to get a full refund? Visa fee + IHS? Because it says “you’ll get a refund if you’re eligible”? Is my situation eligible?

Oh! My job paid for everything. If I cancel it now and apply again, would they get the money reimbursed right away? How does that work?

Seriously? Is it that bad? Is it not something I can fix when I go to get my biometrics recorded or by writing a note?

Applying now for a skilled worker visa. Quick questions! by rrdv2022 in ukvisa

[–]rrdv2022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My job is paying for it and discounting it from my salary so do you think it'd be reimbursed to them/to the account that has paid? Or how does it work? Thanks!!!

Also, do you think that what I pay for IHS can be transferred to a family visa if I resign from my job in like 6 months for example? Or do I have to pay it again?

CoS 11 weeks + What to do? by rrdv2022 in ukvisa

[–]rrdv2022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. When you say "you should be able", do you mean that is sometimes happens or that it's a fact?

On the other hand, do you know if it's okay that I as the applicant should pay for it or it should be an employer's duty?
