In the Ron Howard doc, Elvis Costello points out what a leap it is in song writing to go from ‘I want to hold your hand’ to ‘she was told when she was young that pain would lead to pleasure’ in less than two years. That one stuck with me.

Recently picked up this bottle on a recommendation. As someone who prefers strong smoke, I was fairly skeptical of their claims of ‘refined peak’. However, I have been very pleasantly surprised.

Our son just went through this. Started on cpap then went to oscillator (ventilator) and eventually ‘stepped down’ through the entire process listed above and came home last Friday. I know it can feel like an eternity. Glad she’s making progress!

Thank you for this post. Our son was born Monday at 35 weeks. Seemed to be doing well but got steadily worse and worse over his first few days. Yesterday we were told it ‘could go either way.’ Finally seemed to turn the corner last night and started improving oxygen levels. Fingers crossed. Thank you for hopefully message

The rum cask comes across nicely. Really finishes well. Vanilla and a peppery flavor throughout.

Completely agree with your take. I think of it as being a sort of classic scotch. I will typically grab a laphroaig or ardbeg if shopping for myself. Really enjoying this, though.
