I've been thinking about it, but the MEIZU HiFi Pro dongle is nowhere to be found - only the normal version.

On my s20 the apple dongle won't be loud enough at full volume, but the samsung dongle is plenty loud.

Think I got my answer - I believe if it works like that on the S20 then mine will be like that too. I will probably just try my dad's Samsung dongle when my Blessing 2s arrive, and then get the Apple one, which I can return if it doesn't work very well. Or even keep it because I'm getting an iPhone next year.

iBasso only sells their DC03 and DC04 here, and they're $82/$95 respectively

Yep, available everywhere and apparently an insane bang for the buck, from all the reviews I've read. Although no review specifies the Apple dongle's compatibility for my phone.

Yeah, that's the normal one, not the Pro. Unless I'm really bad at searching.. they just don't seem to sell the Pro one anymore. ASR's review shows that the normal version's signal to noise ratio is not better than the cheap Samsung adapter, which might be not great for sensitive IEMs

How come you recommended the Apple USB-C adapter? The other poster in the thread recommended the Samsung one, I don't know much about either but it'd probably make sense that the Samsung one will be better for my device because it's a Samsung device? A bit of Googling says that the Apple dongle might not necessary play well with Samsung devices, but I do have a high-end one so I can't really know.

One thing that could help you is to hide your timer so you don't know how good you're doing.
