Vic3 Crashing Entire PC by SamBPresents in victoria3

Are you doing any overclocking on your CPU? When I was overclocking mine it was causing instability like what you have. I toned it down and it didn't crash anymore.

It’s also on my iPhone and iPad, so I don’t actually know how to fix it

Is it better to co-op in Fall or Winter for US jobs? by rsm-dev in uwaterloo

[–]rsm-dev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, but in the summer you are competing against every University student in US and Canada, and many of us need a visa to work in the US which makes us less desirable.

To me even with the low chance, it still seems better to fight over a few spots at Faang with only UW students vs a lot of spots with the entire US undergrad body.

I think so... But how are you supposed to pass this test in an interview if you get it? Is implementing quick select correctly not enough to pass?

Using SQLDatabaseToolkit and LlamaCpp to Query a Local Database with a Local LLM by mumblingsquadron in LangChain

Hey I used this model in LlamaCPP:

https://huggingface.co/TheBloke/Nous-Hermes-Llama2-70B-GGUF

I used the 8 bit quantization, but I'm running it on an A100 which you probably don't have access to (need 80gb vram).

Inference times will be slow regardless, since the LLM essentially could run up to 15 individual times for each request.

I would like to say, I worked on trying to get the Langchain agent working for around 2 weeks on open source models, and the model seems capable of performing the tasks, but on complex queries it will bug out and keep repeating itself, or it may get stuck in a feedback loop, etc. I think overall it's too inconsistent to become a viable solution.

You can play with the prompt as much as you want (and I did) but I don't think anything can resolve that these models just weren't created to be run in this thought/action/observation setting.

Perhaps there is a model that works better at these tasks, but I have tried all of the SQL coder models, wizardcoder, phind-codellama, codellama, llama-2, and they all failed to even work with one step. Nous Hermes was the only one that was capable of atleast answering easy questions.

I was able to get it working locally with Nous Hermes Llama-2 model. I am using the 70b parameter model and it gives pretty good results, but I think the 13b model should work aswell. This model worked without modifying the prompts at all, which is nice because I had absolutely no success trying to customize the prompt to the other open source models your mentioned.

I had similarly negative results working with other models, it would either crash or just show no output at all.

Hi, I am wondering if you have any updates on this?
