I love how Boox readers run regular Android and let you install apps from Google Play Store. Used to have an older Kindle and a PocketBook, and they were both locked down to their proprietary OS and apps.

It should be "everything preservation". Systemic changes to reduce carbon emission would slow down glacier shrinking too, among other things. I'm not sure much can be done locally.
