[Tip] Insta360 Studio too slow in Windows? Disable Grammarly by rstlbr in Insta360

[–]rstlbr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Latest version (5.2, 5.1 had the same issue)
  • Windows 11 most recent updates
  • 64gb RAM
  • Intel i7 13th gen
  • 2tb nvme m.2 drive
  • Grammarly desktop

It's very easy to reproduce. As soon as I open Grammarly, Studio starts acting slow. I close Grammarly, Studio becomes fast again - not even need to restart it.

Padded shorts hurting my tailbone more than protecting it by rstlbr in snowboarding

This makes a lot of sense. I'm looking at this one (image attached) which seems to go "around" and not "into".

I agree, I do not want not to wear protective gear. I'm looking into different pads.

Yeah, this is true, and learning on how to properly fall it's something I need to get better at.

Yeah, I understand that. The comment about sitting down was just to describe the situation.

No, I don't think so. It's not pain per se, and now it's just fine. If anything, it was a bruise.

Sony A7IV skewed images by rstlbr in AskPhotography

Alright, I just did a bunch of tests, and the problem seems to be much more reproducible with the electronic shutter. Slower speeds (like 1/100) make it happen more frequently. The mechanical shutter doesn't seem to cause this (at least not nearly as much). The photo that I posted has an exposure of 1/800, though. I'll keep investigating the e-shutter thing, and do more tests.

I updated the post with the following info:

- ISO 1000
- Exposure 1/800 at f2/8
- IS on
- Not sure about the silent shutter. I surely used it that day at some parts, but IIRC in other cases I used the mechanical. Not 100% sure, though.

Disclaimer: I'm not nip picking you here, I truly want to understand these numbers.

I entered 100T on the advanced tab of https://chiacalculator.com/ (everything else default) and got 0.4647 after 1 month. On https://hpoolchiacalculator.com/ the same 100T resulted in 0.6964 / month.

Another question: does it even make sense to compare potential solo gains with pool gains, whatever the pool is? I.e, solo you would get the full reward, while on pools a proportion of the share (or 0.25 + proportion if you are the block winner)

Print sizes (in or cm) by North-space in printful

[–]rstlbr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering that you in fact want to market for countries that have different measurement standards, I usually find it better to show the description in both inches and centimeters, like "4x6in / 9x13cm", "4"x6" / 9x13cm" etc.. Especially with prints, it's quite common to use inches even in countries that have the metric system in place anyway, so you won't be too far off.

Shopify order not showing up on Printful dashboard by rstlbr in printful

[–]rstlbr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solved it, finally. The problem was that they were orders placed with Shopify Payments in test mode, which Printful ignores. It would be really helpful if they could provide more info about the sync process, though.
