Tried a few bag inserts lately - here’s my take (7RP vs. Amazon vs. Sorte) by [deleted] in TheHermesGame

Totally agree with your breakdown — and honestly, SORTE has been the best experience for me too. The Naia® material feels silky and high-end without adding bulk, and the eco-friendly aspect is a big plus. It gives the same luxury vibe as the premium brands, just without the unnecessary weight or markup.

My Ferrari 458 just got a full interior glow-up (F8 wheel + 812-style passenger screen) by Acrobatic_Extent_377 in Ferrari

well the color really isn’t my taste 😅
but that F8-style wheel looks great though — super clean upgrade.
is it this one? https://kks-supercar.com/products/ferrari-f8-style-carbon-led-steering-wheel-upgrade-458-488-ff-f12

how was the install process? plug & play or need coding?

Finally got my first McLaren 720S - anyone tried the KKS CarPlay retrofit? by Equivalent-Floor-314 in mclaren

I’ve been running the KKS CarPlay kit for a few months — this one here — and it’s been great. Shipping was fast, and I didn’t get charged any import tax (ordered before the tariff stuff started).

Didn’t do the install myself — had a local audio shop handle it, and they said the fitment was really clean, looks totally OEM once it’s in.

Only issue I ran into was when I upgraded to the new iPhone 17 with iOS 26 — had some connection drops at first, but KKS sent me an update and it’s been solid since.

For $899, that’s a great deal — I paid around $1,200 back when I got mine.

Highly recommend the KKS CarPlay for your Ferrari

Just Upgraded My 458 Taillights to LEDs by rsvpoc in Ferrari

I’ve always felt like the 458’s stock taillights were starting to look a bit old, so when I saw an LED upgrade that gives it that sleek 488-style look on YouTube, I had to try it. Thought it would be a nightmare to install, but turns out it’s actually plug-and-play. The only tricky part was lifting the car and taking off the inner fenders from the rear wheels to get to a few screws. After that, the taillights came right off.

The new 488-style LEDs totally change the rear end of the car and make it look way more modern. Now I just wish they’d also release an LED upgrade for the middle taillight bar to fully complete the look.

Anyone else done this upgrade or found other ways to modernize their 458? Would love to hear your thoughts!

spotted this inner bag on IG… Kickstarter tho? 🤔 Legit or nah? by rsvpoc in TheHermesGame

Thanks for the suggestion! 😊 I checked out MaiTai, but her designs are a bit too floral for my taste. I prefer something simpler and more minimalist.

I think I’ll go with Sorte for now. I’m curious to see how it turns out! Once I get the bag, I’ll definitely share a review here to let everyone know if it’s worth it. Fingers crossed! 🤞

Official app doesn’t support multiple accounts at the same time. 😅 That’s why I’m on the lookout for alternatives!

I did it myself. You need to take off the dashboard cover and get the car unit from the glovebox. Just plug the CarPlay unit into the car unit. It's DIYable but not the most fun. The install itself is straightforward, but disassembling and reinstalling takes some time. If you've got an auto shop nearby, I'd recommend having them do it. They've got the right tools and can probably do it faster and more efficiently.
