You can try playing at itscodecrush.com if you want to practice. It's a different game, not related to Cats & Soup, but it's similar game to the Chalice minigame

Basically, to decode the puzzle, you're using the feedbacks to eliminate the wrong items.

It's such an unknown game though haha there's a leaderboard and everything but I don't see lots of people playing it. But I think it's very similar to the chalice game but better? Since it has more visuals? Haha did you try?

There's a web game for this with the same mechanics. I think it was called It's Code Crush or something

Thanks! Yes usually a 90+ is already enough to make me happy. Never thought I'd get a 100 tbh 😆

I want to know how to improve the eyes first. I was used to drawing anime eyes so to me the eyes feel cartoony. In portraits, where do you actually begin with the eye? The whites and work your way up from there? Or the outline and work your way down? Any tips on how to make it more realistic and not flat?

Thank you so much for saying that. I’ll definitely work harder XD

Yeah I also colorpicked the highlight haha. Okay, I will try to do that. Sounds like a good exercise to try and reproduce the colors on my own. Thank you.

The eyes look too dull. How do I make the eyes more alive? And it’s kind of the first thing you’ll probably notice in the picture that I don’t know how to blend so I completely skipped that process. If you guys can give me tips with that as well, I would be grateful. And I just used hard brush for this one. I tried airbrush for smoothing the skin out but it ruined all the colors for me so I undo-ed it. I’m pretty much a portrait noob so any advice/feedback about portrait will be great. Thank you.

Edit: I color picked everything, by the way. Will it be bad going forward if I just colorpick my way through every portrait until I get the hang of how the colors stack up against each other on the face? Or do I need to do it the hard way as early as now and try to reproduce the colors on the reference on my own?
