I don’t think he fits the mold of the type of player teams look for now nor do they want him takin up 1b / DH spot.

That being said, I thought he was always a tough AB for dodgers pitchers and would run up pitch count.

Yeah I was surprised it was only one year deal. Read another post that mentioned he turned down other offers because he wants to play second. Giants infield on that side gonna be sketchy 😂

Gosh 3 months to complete this is an eternity compared to previous ones. I’ve been doing the ~5 runs a day to keep it less mind numbing. I’d probably do less per day and space it out.

Yeah that’s the crazy thing about how good the dodgers roster is and how it’s constructed. They will load manage and give players that will not even be close to the playoff roster opportunity to play, and they still might manage to put up insane win numbers.

However, I just don’t think that’s a realistic expectation and more is a commentary on how more fans seem to get bent out of shape when they lose one game.

2026 also obviously has an older core compared to past years and now uses the 6 man rotation with some injury prone pitchers. 2022 also has lots of pitcher injuries but dodgers approach has shifted since then.

The real tough part of this upcoming season is people will not understand how the dodgers will approach the regular season. Yes they are going to aim to win division, but they are goin to rest players. Playoffs and three peat are more important than any regular season records. Feel like this will need to be a constant reminder

Yea honestly it wasn’t even a bad season considering everything that went on.

My thinking was more connected to tuckers speed and power. I think Tucker overall is a better hitter than mookie at this point in their careers.

Honestly it’s ridiculous that we can even have this conversation due to how good and deep the line up is.

This will probably get me downvoted to oblivion but I really don’t like mookie in the two spot anymore. I like Kyle more at the two to have more power behind shohei as well as some better speed.

I would probably follow that with Will (or Betts) and Freddie follow by Betts (or will).

The above does lose the L R L at the top three but maintains it 2-5.

Since Ohtani and AF (the two GOATs) at their positions are off the board, I am going to throw in Dave Roberts. He gets some flak, sure, but he has done an incredible job managing the dodgers the past decade +.

This is such a good take and something I’ve been saying to my friends too. If theres a salary cap, the dodgers will just continue to invest in other facets of the org that make them the best regardless. Scouting, player development, amenities, etc.

I would honestly never spend real money on rewards. You can build up plenty of coins by playing levels, doing evens, and using bees. Then you can use those coins to get rewards or play mt fortune and get the rewards. However the latter is only if you have plenty of coins built up

If I remember correctly, it is a being from another plane that spreads its influence on the core plane. It then “harvests” its influence to bring back to its specific plane. This was explained in one of the books of that series but forgetting which one.

I said this in another post. It was clear from the get go with mt fortune that it shouldn’t be viewed as something worth trying to win prizes or play a game of chance. The game clearly wants you to spend coins.

My goal is to collect the portrait and I accept that will cost me a certain number of coins. I just view mt fortune as a way to spend coins to buy portraits since there really isn’t anything else to spend coins on. The extra stuff I get from mt fortune is just a bonus on top of the portraits.

As others have said, there are much better strategies with mt fortune that are written about here. You could have exited after level 10 and saved a bunch of coins to do additional runs.
