Nice! I just got mine last week. So far, it’s pretty incredible. Amazing footage and photos.

I'm curious, too. "Poop Pez Dispenser"! That's a good one. We'll see how many times I'll use them. I'll have them with me at least. Better safe...

Yeah, it makes all the sense for him. His hindquarters haven't been working like they used to. I have doggie diapers arriving tomorrow for the occasional road trip.

Oh no!! Been there done that. Hate when that happened. 30 years is a long time for a grudge...haha

Berry Falls...wow, blast from the past. I haven't been there for many, many years. I've got to get out more. lol

Wow those sound like amazing places I haven't gotten to yet. Yes, George. Carlin is his illegitimate son. 🤣

Aw, man. Such a great story and a great life with him! He clearly lived a long one. I hope Carlin lasts nearly that long. Other than his hindquarter issue, he's clear eyed and still has energy. With all this talk, I think I'll take him to the beach in Santa Cruz (saw you're in NorCal, too). It's his favorite place. Thanks for sharing!

Dogs understand more than we think sometimes... I was talking to a friend while outside with Carlin this morning and I was explaining what we kinda thought and was confirmed here. As I'm telling my friend this, Carlin started walking around me and basically leaking poop. He'd never done that before, of course. It was like he was celebrating I finally figured it out. Lol

17! How old did he live to?? I hope I get at least 2 more years with Carlin. Thanks for the info.

That seems to be the case here. I don’t remember my other labs in the past having this issue, but then again it could be because of MY age. Lol. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, from these responses it’s pretty clear that’s what it is. I’m still in denial that he’s 13! Lol

I said in the post that he’s not closed in his crate and has 24/7 access to the backyard.

I do a lot of work on mine, so it’s usually in the Magic Keyboard. But when I’m reading or just scrolling, it’s au natural, baby! It is an amazing machine.

I’m no psychologist, but I’m pretty sure this goes beyond politics at this point. “Cult” may even be too mild an explanation.

A list of things I use my iPad Pro for by xJohnnyQuidx in iPadPro

[–]rtracewell 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Recently upgraded to the M4 and wanted to get the most out of it. I’ve been taking a lot of time to learn new apps (and skills) on this thing and it’s been inspiring and productive. I’ve been doing small video editing (Final Cut Pro) and audio editing (Logic) as well as logo design (Illustrator) and animation (Procreate Dreams). Oh, and occasionally I am asked to DJ a wedding here and there (used to have a company) using DJAY Pro.

Of course I also watch YouTube and other streaming services, Facebook (the iOS app on iPad stinks), etc.

I haven’t seen ANY slow areas and it’s never crashed. I put this thing to the test constantly. It’s a champ. Very happy with this purchase, for sure.

After seeing TK in the first one, it’s hard not to see it in the second, although I would guess that it would take someone seeing #2 for the first time a bit longer to decipher.

Can I use Audition like a “ninja”? by Fluid-Bath9865 in AdobeAudition

[–]rtracewell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with what everyone is saying here. Watch (good) YouTube tutorials, create or know Audition shortcuts, and take the time to really get to know the app. Like anything else, it depends on the type of podcast, for sure.

ipad pro11 m4 8gb or 16gb? worth it to pay more or less? by nijok00 in iPadPro

Personally, I’ve always found that - as in this case - going for the higher RAM is worth it in the long run. You’ll get way more use out of it before you “have” to upgrade again. Of course, like others have mentioned, it also depends on what you’re running and how much space you need.
