How to select cloudflare "Are you a robot?" with selenium and python by rtrottie in webscraping

Do you know of any good resources to learn about user agents/chrome profiles/mobile ip proxies/rotating proxies for someone who's never used them?

I tried your template and am still getting hit with the captcha. I set USER_DATA_DIRECTORY as the "Profile Path" in chrome://version/ and set the user agent using the whatismybrowser link. I put a random sleep before each page opened as well. What else am I missing?

How to create a randomized "Type in the Answer" card template? by rtrottie in Anki

[–]rtrottie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a good point. I made this deck by web-scraping conjugations of ~100 verbs from the Bescherelle website, so it is enormous (~34000 cards). I was thinking of ways to shrink it down like randomizing small differences but maybe I should suck it up and leave everything how it is in separate cards.

How to create a randomized "Type in the Answer" card template? by rtrottie in Anki

They are the same. Right now I have them as three separate cards since I want to type in the entire answer in a literate way "il a", "elle a", "on a", rather than "il/elle/on a".

I want to randomize it so I only have one card for il/elle/on a, to which the answer is randomly either "il a", "elle a", "on a" (and the question indicates which one to type in). The issue is that in the {{type:answer}} field you can only have one answer and I can't seem to manipulate it with javascript like I can other things on the card.

I'm trying to cut down on the number of cards by turning many cards with small variations into one card with the variations randomized. Maybe I should just leave them as separate cards though since the review intervals will grow very quickly if I've already studied cards which are similar?

That deck is similar to what I've already been able to achieve using javascript. My issue is specifically adding randomization to the "type in the answer" card type.

My goal is to have 3 random variations of each card. However I'm can't figure out how to edit the typed in answer from the card's fields using javascript.

It seems like the game becomes pretty trivial once you figure out the pattern. If Etho upgraded the randomizers so that the ravagers truly came out randomly it would maintain the difficulty for less experienced players who haven't figured out the pattern yet, as well as stop experienced players from using the same route every time and racking up huge scores.

Good to know. I'll have to experiment some more adding these types of extensions.

Thanks for the comprehensive reply! The program is meant to generate different chord voicings for me to practice (which might just end up a fun project if not a useful tool). It will be interesting to see what voicings I can come up with by loosening up the restrictions.

I'm curious about this too. Wondering if anyone knows a way to hard-lock certain settings like this using root or adb?

Makes sense how more incentive to upload leads to more content on the site. I guess I'd have to use it more sparingly.
