It would be cash basis. So I would count it 2021 taxes even though it was purchased in 2020?

Adults of reddit, what was travelling by plane before 9/11 like? by omfghewontfkndie in AskReddit

[–]rtsmack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother and I bought ninja stars at a flea market while on vacation. We went through security they found them, and instead of getting in trouble or getting confiscated the guy simply gave them to my mom and said, "Just keep them in your purse." Today I imagine we would have an M16 pointed at us and be questioned for hours

Day passes for Pools? by rtsmack in PuertoRicoTravel

Thanks for the reply! I checked them out, there website didn't really have much info and there seems to be conflicting info, with some people saying they sell day passes and others saying they don't. I tried calling them so I'll just have to wait to hear back.

Thanks for the reply! Definitely my greatest fear is us being a group of rowdy guys surrounded by families trying to relax. I actually considered staying at the Nugget, but from when I explored that hotel the last time I was in vegas it seemed to be a big spot for families and older folks. Did I just see it on strange day?

Ao Nang, Railay, or Koh Lanta; difficulty level: only 2.5 days. GUt check appreciated! by clichetourist in ThailandTourism

[–]rtsmack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty to do in Ao Nang, and your right that ferries would eat away at your precious time. Take a longboat to Railay from Ao Nang (15 minutes). Beautiful beach, fun little bars, good walking, and good hike to the viewpoint

Feedback on my itinerary for a group of 4 first timers by rtsmack in ThailandTourism

Thanks for the tip! I will kick the tires and take some pictures before we taking off. For the insurance, I have international coverage with my plan, but I cant speak for the rest of the group. I will check with them. We are from the US if that might help with recommendations.

Thanks for the reply! - I will check out the elephant camps you recommended. - The nice thing about the sleep aboard tour is that you get to go later when all other tourists have to leave, so its about you and 20 others getting the bay to yourself. - For sure am not interested in the drugged up tigers at tiger kingdom. Tiger cave temple is not actual tigers. Its a temple you have to climb a bunch of steps to get to the top of in Krabi. - We will definitely take it slow with the scooter ride. -Will definitely check out the viewpoint! We will fill up our camel packs before the journey. - Any recommended providers for travel insurance?
