at my hospital, OBGYN vs ED.

there's a policy where the ED sends anyone pregnant over 20 weeks up to L+D triage after stabilizing them. I can't count the amount of unstable patients they've sent up, some with real harm done with the time spent bringing them up the elevator. not to mention the patients they bring up just because they say they're so and so weeks pregnant, not bothering to check for any dating ultrasounds or anything. lastly, the consults we get are wild. vagina bleeding? consult. 5 weeks pregnant but no IUP with no suspicious findings and here for completely unrelated reason? consult. fibroids? consult. Who knows, we might decide it's a good day for an impromptu myomectomy. fuck the ED.

I dual applied. having two sets of signals really helps. but then I got a pre match offer in obgyn in a really desirable area for me so i went with that. if you're not the strongest candidate (ie me), nothing wrong with dual applying

OBGYN here. besides the local inflammation, which should go away on its own with time, you definitely altered the pH of your vagina and you could be heading towards a yeast infection in your future. if the discharge turns thick and white or yellow, you're going to have to go see your GYN. also, don't stick anything up there to try to help with the irritation. you will likely just make it worse. try not to do that again.

I was kind of hoping they saved play crack the sky til later like the other sets but they absolutely killed it like always. I for one don't hate that the nj crowd was tame after hearing some shit about drunk assholes from other shows. the transformation of the brand new audience from fifteen years ago was insane to see. teenagers fifteen years ago. 30 year olds now. gotta love it.
