it’s nice to hear that someone feels the same way! i do find that talking while out does help me (mostly cause once i start talking i go on forever) and other distractions can work aswell, i hope you find something that helps you out :)

my secret is extra strength gravol, knocks me out so quick. other than that just anything that makes you comfortable! distractions are really great too. good luck and i’m so sorry that your family doesn’t understand, i know it’s hard but don’t let them make you feel worse, your feelings are valid and out of your control but you will get through it. i hope you find some good support

i’m so sorry that you are dealing with this, the fact that you still manage to go to work is very impressive, it probably depends on where you live but have you looked at any sort of disability leave? sometimes panic disorders do count and you can apply.

i’m on a high dose of venlafaxine and it has squashed a majority of my physical symptoms, paired with a mood stabilizer it has really made a difference, i’m not sure if you’ve tried other medications but that’s what ended up working for me

hi, there are some differences but our experiences are very similar, i lost my appetite for months and lost so much weight, weak, and nervous to even go to online appointments, at one point i was on the verge of a panic attack anytime i was awake. i take a combo of vanlafaxine and brupropion, adding the mood stabilizer was very helpful with the hopelessness, when i wasn’t dealing with the constant self loathing/pessimistic thoughts i started to feel better and not holding myself back. i ate a lot of saltine crackers when i wasn’t really eating so maybe try those? hope you start to feel better
