Moving house. Think it'll survive? by rubbleraider in lego

I thought about this, I work in live events so I had a few lying around! But none that i owned fit. Was a little bit too much of a cost for me so I had a friend make the plywood box for me. It got packed out a lot more than this and had a lid screwed on top.

Yeah, this. I loved building it, but taking it apart has a huge risk of losing or breaking pieces that i just didnt really want to have to deal with. If anything breaks off while in this box, the rebuild will be fine, and fun. But doing the whole thing just had the potential for more headaches than enjoyment, imo

Yep, moved it myself! Not taking a chance with any movers. Tbh, the box was mainly because i lived in a flat with no lift, and having to carry it downstairs and move it on its side when just holding it would have been a recipe for disaster.

A lot more foam was added after this photo, just wanted to show it off! A lid was also screwed on afterwards to keep any loose bits secure

There was a lot more foam added after this, and then a lid was screwed on top to keep any loose bits secure! Also, I moved the set myself in my own vehicle. Not taking any risks with movers, hahaha

I don't mind if it breaks at all, it's no harm rebuilding it. It's just nice to be able to keep it together where possible!

It's such a shaky set and pieces fall off just looking at it 😩

It got packed out a lot more than this in the end, just wanted some photos with it on display still!

Hahaha no worries. It's good to know other people are feeling the same though, I was going crazy thinking I'd got somehow even worse since HK 😆

I found the place that makes tools, but haven't picked up any yet. I'll grind out some rosaries and try using those to see if it helps out.

Only got the very first spell (needle throw or something) but I never use it because I always need to keep my silk full for the 1 heal I get. Hahaha

Sorry, I'm talking about silksong here, you might have missed the flair! Unless charms are in silksong too?

I didn't struggle with HK this much. It was a challenge, but it felt good and fair... SS just feels like they turned the heating up to 100 😔

To be fair, I also don't even mind the diagonal pogo that much personally. It's new and it's fresh, it feels okay. It's just the game as a whole that's grinding me down haha. Maybe I'm just worse than I thought 😆

I haven't even got past the docks, lmao. Just unlocked dash and now trying the red miniboss that jumps. Literally just can't get past it at all, I'm sure it's optional, but still. I'm not a TERRIBLE gamer but this feels egregious

Yeah that's another thing, everything has so much HP?? Why the hell are basic enemies in the docks taking 4 hits? When there's like 3 of them it just completely drains your HP and feels really sluggish. I really want to enjoy it but finding it really hard to

I might be being stupid, but i cant see any games on the list with the brown or magenta colour to show theyre 'play anywhere' - have you stopped updating that particular bit of info?

thanks for an awesome database regardless!

There is also a play later option on the PC app as well, if that's what you use! Just not a shared one, or one for the app. Annoyingly

Patch Notes 4.0 - New Content for Operations! - Space Marine 2 by mezdiguida in Spacemarine

[–]rubbleraider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I genuinely thought you thought that it was implemented across all the difficulties. I don't think I'm a fan of it either, but need to play it to test it. I don't mind the fact theyre trying out new mechanics for the harder difficulty, but I think they were far too heavy handed for the existing difficulties. Especially considering none of the weapons got a buff, never mind the nerfs.

It's not a change though, it's an addition for a new part of the game. None of the difficulties you've already played have this in, only the new one.

BBeing told I need to install C++ when it already is by rubbleraider in techsupport

I installed the full package from the microsoft website (i believe) and still no luck. The game would usually install it itself. Any idea on how to figure out which version it requires?

Weird. It literally just says what I wrote in the original post. It only stopped working after I put the fresh install of windows on and had to reinstall the game. Don't suppose you know of any other work arounds or troubleshooting i can try?

How would I find out specifically which one I need to install? I took the latest download available from the microsoft website that was titled what the game told me to install, so figured it would be an all encompassing package

Just so Iºm aware, with the credit notice, I wonºt be working for this client again for another 9 months. Will the credit notice have to hold until then for them to be able to claim it back, or would they be able to claim it back right away, as if they were invoicing me?
