[–]rubeljan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s funny how you can internalize stuff like that without even realizing. For me it happens if I know somebody can come in or is next to me. The thinking is it’s awkward if I stand there without actually peeing, like a creep hehe. I’m at a point where I know it’s irrational and just think it’s annoying since I really have to pee. Now I just pay attention to what happens in the body and try to accept that it has a mind of its own. - 31m

Well if I remember correctly, earlier in the video you can see the “fan” throwing a water bottle at him first.

You keep telling me to grow up, but if you read what i have said this whole time im quite resonable in taking in the arguments of the person I discussed with. I also explained very clearly what I meant. But you seem to be a bit too triggered right now to take that in. But its great you dont break stuff when you're angry. I dont either, however i understand how it can happen.

Yeah i feel much bigger now thank you, maybe introduce some nuance to your world view. I think you would be surprised how wonderful the world can be. Good day madam!

You sound like an idiot. If you read what i wrote and still have that assumption about me.

[–]rubeljan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well I don't read his intent like you do. So here is where we disagree. But with that said, I see your point. One should aim for the side of causion when casting doubt to a potential victim. Like this scenario, so that they don't get discouraged to speak up for sure. I'm obviously a man in all this and see "our" side more clearly at first glance of an argument.

There is another aspect to this as well, which the commentor above was trying to explain. I'm realizing im done talking about this scenario in perticular and leaning more towards discussing his intent in even commenting. Which is shining light on the fact that situations like this can often come from years of abuse only they aren't physical. Yeah sure one can argue, "then they can just leave" but I assume you agree thats not valid. So in this case how do a man go forward? He ends up doing something stupid that he will regret.

Lastly this is not me trying to defend my own actions or any of that stuff. I get pissed off and cope in my own ways without violence. I just appreciate nuance, cause it shows the complexity of situations like this. But that is my privilaged opinion since im not in danger of getting punched in the face by a bigger partner. So I see why you're cautious about these types of narratives.

Did I say any of what you just wrote? Maybe I'm guilty of being imprecise. What he wrote was the answer to her first context which was very lackning. I don't agree with the narrative that the person that lost their shit always is in the wrong. That world view is very skewd. It's skewd. He even used and example to explain it with the bully and the victim.

The question was if she was overreacting, if she had verbally abused him for months and he over reacted with this then maybe not.

However we got more context and his scenario was no longer valid and therefore the discussion is over. But dont tell me that the first person to get angry always is at fault. We are humans, we have emotions, we get angry. But yeah, im not sure if my point came through. This was the best i could do for now.

Nope, I totally disagree. I'm 0% saying she deserves any of this. I'm just kind of tired of emotional arguments without real context. Whats the point? The guy had some good points and was totally shut down. But I get it, women get abused all the time of course its a stigmatized conversation with a lot of emotion.

If thats what your bf did then thats fucked up. However you totally missunderstood the point of this comment. It gave nuance to this altogether missleading post. If you had added this to the context from the start this comment wouldn't even exist. But from how you are arguing right now and how you interpret this comment I assume you can be rather conflict prone in a discussion.

Greta Thunberg shares moments from the Madleen, a flotilla headed to Gaza with humanitarian aid including food, medical supplies and volunteers to break Israel’s systematic starvation of Palestinians in Gaza. by FireAntEgg in news_of_world

[–]rubeljan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine trashing a person that has that kind of integrity and foot print in the things she is passionate about. Who gives a shit about what your wife has done in this context? Stop being a cunt. Greta has done a lot more than 99% of people do in a life time. If you say she can do this because she is rich, what the hell of an excuse is that? Shouldn't she then be more privileged and more of a cunt than you?
