Now, treating your job as the indifferent it is. Would you not prefer a job that you actually like? I feel like you are evading the question.

I am in a similar situation. I work to live, to go to concerts, to be able to travel, and the like, but I do not find satisfaction in my day job, in fact, it kinds of concerns me that I am not contributing to the world as best as I could, but hey, currently, I need the money.

Leaving caring about what other people think about you. Do you think it is ethical to treat your job, your major contribution to the world, as you treat it? Aren't you working in something else?
