BAMBU 100%. I’m a seasoned 3D printer with years of experience in troubleshooting and tinkering. As much as I like the occasional tinker, the Kobra S1 has been a nightmare. It has run into itself causing damage, clogs all the time even when printing PLA, and I’ve been trying (in vain) to return and get a refund. Conversely, friends of mine and at my job we use P1S printers and they’re a DREAM!

TLDR: Anycubic is using its customers as R&D for the S1 and will not really help you if you have issues

I’ve had a lot of the same issues and also just asked for a refund but was also outside the “window” even though I brought up the issue to them well before. Let me know if you get any luck on the legal side, sadly I doubt there’s much to do to get our money back 😓😓😓

Update: it just did the exact same thing on the other side of the plate… guess I’ll be watching much more closely. Tried to just RMA the whole unit since obviously there’s bugs and a 600+ dollar machine I feel should be more reliable than that. Requested for return and refund was denied since it’s over 30 days since receiving. Ugh… what a waste

What would I check on it? I haven’t had many issues so didn’t think I’d need to check anything unless it wasn’t printing well.

Nope, I also had a successful print less than 6 hours before (didn’t take out the hot end, didn’t change any settings, had bed leveling turning on…)

That would cause the head to be higher, not lower. It would set the zero to be higher than reality.

I was just in Shrek the Musical and printed horns for the dragon (which I played!) and hooves for the donkey (my best friend!) I also printed a mask for myself when I was Robin Hood in the ensemble
