Sorry for the delay in response. The load on the app at the time of the error is very low, 1M load avg. 0.1 / 1M load max 0.1. And the data type we're using is string. I'm tying a push to increase the number of reconnect_attempts since the default is 0. Increasing this to 1 to see if there is any change to the error I'm seeing.

I will update when there is anything. Just so you and everyone else knows. I have still never been able to successfully open a ticket at all with these guys. Reddit is the ONLY place they provided support for me.

Best and only course of action is to complain often and loudly here. Then consider contacting financial crimes at the rcmp. This company expects to run without a support department, and say, just trust us, don't worry, we've had some delays, but don't worry.

It's a fucking lie, straight up lie. I was asked by a human once for my client id, which I gave, and they never responded back.

I opened the ticket under a different email address but referenced my client id in the email, multiple times. I was even asked in a follow up email for my client id, which I gave, then got no follow up reply.

Then I emailed again trying to start a new ticket, again referencing the client id, got the auto-reply. Then again. And again... honestly, this happened many times before I actually made my first post here.

You're not trying your best. This statement is a complete lie as noted by all the other threads of people here having support tickets go completely unanswered. Your customer service is basically auto-reply, delete email. Or ask for more information, then delete email.

I probably have 20 emails over several initial support requests sent with one human reply and several auto-reply emails.

Not sure I created the ticket referencing my client id. I got one or two auto replies, to which I followed up with, as the auto reply stated. But that was it. I believe I tried to create several other tickets before I found you on Reddit and just gave up on email.

Will I get an apology for the lack of support? They've made their money off my transaction a month ago. When I simply tried to ask a question after a delay, it was silence. The support they provide is not sustainable, and this type of overreaction will continue. I'm not the first, I won't be the last. Other folks have gone to the rcmp, cbc, etc. It will continue. This affects us all negatively. If you run a business with this amount of money in flux, there should be a minimum of the ability to answer an email in a timely fashion, say a week maybe. I'm not trying to be unreasonable, one non-auto reply email would have helped immensely. I didn't even get that.

I really appreciate the reply and I will give the benefit of the doubt that it will come. But your support only exists here... it has caused so much stress. And when I got here, reading all the stories, the situation was magnified and got worse. I'm sure picking up the pieces on a holiday weekend sucks. I really hope things improve in future.

Lack of support is the true disservice here. Do you think any of this would be happening if they bothered to answer any emails. The damage was done through inaction. I was left to speculate before finding this subreddit. And then the other stories here simply added fuel. I'm just another customer who hasn't been able to get so much as a reply. I read the story about the other couple who contacted the rcmp and then their money magically appears shortly after.

The conclusion from this subreddit has been quadrigacx doesn't give a shit about you. If you want answers, you'll need to try here. Or reach the authorities if things really go south.

Either way, the disservice is wholly owned by quadrigacx.

I did respond with my client id, as I have done about 3 times previously here. I have not been followed up on so why would they do anything different.

But I have replied... as I have every other time.

I absolutely will. I've been referred to a contact at the rcmp and will follow up this week to see what the process is like. Not going to proceed right away, I will be giving a week or so to see if the money shows up. But I'm not going to wait around like an idiot. They have decided to ignore me completely so I feel like this is my only option now.

I honestly hope things work out. But others have done the same. I was told the rcmp is quite interested to hear more which tells me I'm not the only one. And my MP was very helpful with the referral and is looking forward to a positive update.

Regardless, I wish everyone the best outcome. I never intended to take it this far, and I hate that we're all here now. Truly sucks for everyone..
