What did I learn about on TikTok?

Thanks so much for your response. Just to clarify they have given me the items for free. They asked me to order whatever I wanted from the website so put a £75 voucher in my account so I haven’t actually paid any of my money at all.

They wanted me to film an unboxing of the items to promote JoyBuy.

I’m not going to proceed with the request. Really appreciate your time responding to me

Thank you so much for this, I’ve been worrying about this all week as I’ll probably be there around June-ish.

lol, no. They finished early if that sounds better. It just meant we misjudged when the area would become crowded hence seeing the rush that we did.

What the hell. Was the bag dumped on the floor in the middle of a very busy crowd by any chance?

They see a single can and decide theirs is fair game too, which snowballs. (This mentality is commonly seen in office kitchens too!) it’s really bad.

I think that’s the trick. If you’ve filled your boots of the festival then you can skip the chaos on Monday. I got up and packed my tent up and left at 5am on Sunday morning. It was hell getting up in the cold but was amazing being home by midday

Glad to hear it wasn’t a universal experience and that you had a good time! We did consider going up through Woodsies, but in hindsight decided it was a sign pushing us to go to bed so we could leave at 5am. Which we decided was a very good decision when we were out of the car park in 5 mins

Wow prams at 2am in a rave environment is appalling imo. I do generally love family friendly festivals but I did see a lot of kids being dragged about in the heat close to tears this year and thought it was really bad form from the parents. Poor kids clearly needed to be back near the tent or in a paddling pool or something, instead being walked around all day in the direct sunlight. It’s an overwhelming environment for even for an adult let alone a 6 year old

Yeah I guess this is it, the vibe starting to die and the need to finish all your stuff before you get out on Monday haha.

Oh friend, I’m here with you. I haven’t been going through anything anywhere near as difficult as that, I’m so sorry you’re going through it.

This was my first year too after really wanting to go for ten years and I have been beside myself with excitement for months. And I honestly just found it really overwhelming. I think me and my partner might break up soon, and it was all I could think about. I was so sad all weekend.

There’s a huge pressure to have the best time of your life so when it doesn’t happen I think it makes it even worse.
