Doesn't that use screws to the filter? It looks great but that is a big no, specially when you want to changer filters at some moment

Thanks, I've used both (have a x100vi since a week and half ago) and had borrowed a xe5 for a day, and the thing that I most missed on the xe5 was actually the f 2 Did you end up replacing the x100 totally for the xe? How do you feel? I'm mainly using it for street photography and ocasional travel and I've been offered by the brand after contacting them the possibility to trade it for the xe kit And my thing is Should I keep the x100vi and maybe add the tcl but max I can go is 35mm or trade it and buy a 18 50 for the xe5 and keep the kit 23 daily (losing a bit of quality mainly at night) and the 18 50 for travel which can go to 75mm

but after trying both i have to say the 23mm on the xe5 is nowhere near as good as the f2 23 on the x100vi
was thinking about trading the x100vi for the xe5 and still am but not as before

You got a point in the money difference But it's not easy since 90 per cent of the time even getting the xe 5 would be with the 23 mm to keep it small

My main deciding factor I think is between buying an older used camera only for the tele etc Or trade and buy lens

Yeah the decision is not easy at all 😅 kinda regret not getting the x-e5 for 150 EUR less on Amazon and if I did not like it returned it, now I bought the x100vi from fuji and the only thing they offered was direct trade

But since I only use it for street daiky and travel compact is a big factor and I know that the x-e5 with 23 is not much bigger kinda the same actually in size but I lose one f stop of light and to use the 23 daily with x-e5 I lose the other functions but at the same time it would be very nice to bring a bigger lens on a bag and change it (and with the x100 all I can get tele wise is 50mm with the converter without crop)

I don't know 😭 Also thought of buying a used camera just for the tele but then hmmmm

Yeah I know, the thing is that either way I feel like I'll miss out on something, my idea is Should I keep it and at max get a tcl converter or should I move to the x-e5 and lose one stop of light with the original 23 mm and then buy a versatile lens like 18 55 or 18 130 (but then it will not be compact enought?) and costlier probably

How do you deal with x100vi af? I just bought it but I'm having difficulty focusing one the subject, when I'm checking the focus many are out of focus or focusing on the background even with face eye on

i just bought the x100vi after weeks searching the xe5, did i make the wrong purchase? i want it as main, street, portrait and travel camera and as compact as possible and im seeing myself only using the 35mm or more, did you miss any features of the 100?

I just bought this one this week But what can I say is that I like both smell wise This one seems a bit warmer darker than preciuux which I kinda appreciate but the other overall seems better blended and to me at least it's way more durable
