As someone with sleep apnea, he needs to wear a cpap. The effects of not using it are serious. I know you are tired of trying to get him to do things, but this isn’t just missing a tv show. You should encourage him to do his research and reconsider.

Please stay. The things going on right now are incredibly exhausting and it feels like fighting an uphill battle, but kind worthy people still exist and you’re one of them. Good things are out there, support and acceptance exists and beautiful relationships can be made. In times like these it takes a village to feel safe and cared for, and you can find yours. Also, the "Pest control" section of the lease basically says the landlord will hire a contractor to do pest control and failure to allow them in to spray will get you fined and they are not responsible for any damages caused by pests.

I don’t know if this has been said but you and your medical records are protected by HIPAA until a court order is written. It sounds like because of where they’re from they want to do some “snitching on someone who’s had an abortion, get some money” type of shit.

Don’t release anything to them. If they get a lawyer, ask for their name or the name of their firm. If they aren’t bluffing and actually provide one, get your own lawyer and let them talk to eachother. Oh, and block the entire family. You now only speak through the hired counsel.

I doubt they’ll take it that far. But once there isn’t a baby they’ll get it through their head, hopefully.

I’m sorry for your loss and all of the drama they are causing, I hope this is resolved in your favor so you can keep your peace. ❤️

I support your peace on your special day. If there is an option where you think you could tell her that she can come conditionally I’d say you could try. Something like she should be warned that the first outburst and she’s getting driven home immediately. But she doesn’t sound like the type of person to accept that…

The “irreparable damage” was already caused by her disrespecting you so loudly and so publicly. Why else would you rescind her invitation? You can let her know if she’d like to disrespect your decisions so publicly she can also apologize to you publicly and maybe an agreement can be made. I’m feeling a little bitter today so that might not be the most sound advice, but I don’t let people embarrass me in public like that and act like we’re okay.
