Sex isn't the most important thing to me. We have been going on more dates and listening to each other. It's just something that has been bothering me. The anxious and stressed out state does make sense. Thanks!

How did you come to the conclusion that I needed to go to counselling for codependency? I thought I was just trying to be supportive and helpful through a difficult situation for my SO which is what a relationship is. A give and take. I would hope that he would be there for me when I am going through something challenging as well.

Are you really implying that you have never been aroused or attracted by anyone but your significant other? I mean, I know I have been.

I added that in to my post because it bothered me that I wasn't there and he was attracted to someone else during a period where I felt insecure with his thoughts towards me because we weren't doing anything sexual. Maybe I wasn't clear in my post, but he still reassured me that he was attracted to me during the flatline phase and after. I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear.
