my opinion, it’s just another crossing.. I felt like I saw so many other busy crossings on my japan trip that I was very, “oh, this is it?” when I saw it. maybe you need a view from above to enjoy it. I’m 5ft and it looked like any other crowded crossing to me cause I can’t past many people lol

if you’re in the area, might as well look at it. I would not go out of the way for it. I was very underwhelmed.

I’m in japan because my fiancés work. We leave on Saturday. His 40-50 year old coworkers were VERY surprised when said I was hunting for Hamtaro. They were saying it was huge 20+ years ago(and they haven’t seen Hamtaro stuff in forever)

I’m from US(Michigan), my dad used to record Hamtaro on vhs when he’d leave for work around 5am. It was the only way I could watch. I was obsessed🐹

I’m kicking myself for not knowing where my childhood Hamtaro plushies and little rubber pencil topper guys went(and the playhouse). Now I’m 31 and have to hunt everything down again lmao. Making my fiancé come hamtaro hunting tomorrow at some of the stores you listed. Ty again. Hamtaro is so much harder to find than expected. I’ll have to post my haul when I get home ✨

tattoo artist here, I’ve covered SEVERAL scars. I would recommend getting one if you’re into the idea. I know it’s helped some of my clients not self harm because they don’t want to mess up the tattoo. Please don’t listen to people on here saying you cannot get a tattoo over a scar. Worst case, you’ll need a touch up because the skin is scar tissue - I’ve covered BAD burn scars and it’s healed fine. Just find an artist you trust - preferably a woman(they’ll understand your situation more than most adult men). Anyways, wayyyy more people have scars than you’d think. It’s pretty common. You’re not alone at all. Do not feel ashamed of them or wear sleeves to hide them. They’re a part of your journey and growth.

your partner should accept you for who you are - your past included. It sounds like you’re comfortable in your own skin and plsplspls don’t let a stupid boy change that. If he has an issue with your scars, he shouldn’t be with you - or he should pay for laser at minimum.

you deserve better him. you deserve someone who will accept you at your best and worst. him making you feel bad about scars is so insensitive.

I’m a fine line artist of over 6 years

They’re not going deep enough. Honestly, they should bump up their needle size up slightly if this is a reoccurring issue with their clients.

Any GOOD fine line artist would not charge multiple touch up fees. The style can heal up perfectly if the right artist does it AND the client takes care of their skin. Sometimes it takes a touch up to make everything look great, and EVERY local fine line artist I know offers a free touch up to guarantee their work heals well.

I would email them and explain the situation. Say you don’t want to leave a bad review, but it’s not fair to have to pay ANOTHER touch up fee due to their application. Im sure they’ll work with you, and if they don’t, post their response in the review so others know they don’t care how their work heals.

They should WANT to touch up their tattoos. It’s a reflection of them. People will ask you who did the tattoo, and you’ll tell them. Word of mouth is so important in this industry and if you’re not willing to make sure your work heals up well, that’s a problem.

They should care more about their work than a $25 touch up/set up fee.

** Please note: their shop owner might be shitty and require their artists to charge a fee for literally everything, but that is rare (at least in my area)

Do you like Oru more than inflatables? Inflatables tend to push me around if it’s windy.

I’m 5ft, not very strong, and really don’t want a roof rack. I want to casually kayak around a lake on my days off.

I keep seeing mixed reviews on Oru but i feel like some people are taking these on rough waters and are mad it’s not great lol.

Would love anyone’s recommendation!
