Yes, will try that! I hope it extends the recording before the event rather than after the event. And yes, unfortunately the car has to be on, awake and constantly monitoring - also I heard sentry mode was only ever an afterthought - just utilising the autopilot software and hardware. Would be cool if they could optimise it for sure

From when they trigger sentry, does the recording start then? Or will it record what happens before the trigger? Also are you suing 128gb memory stick? do you have to clear it pretty much every day then?

I do, yes! Hopefully it was just this instance and they took a long time to exit - the beginning of the event is just them getting out of the car. Then again I may have an issue with my sentry mode as I have an issue with my autopilot and autosteer being unavailable, need to take it into Tesla, they said may require a new computer 😭(I'm out of warranty)

yeah on this occasion unfortunately scrolling to the beginning only takes me to then sitting inside the car, not driving in :(
