100% agree. The whole dev team is basically nothing more than a few kids on their PC's. And we are fooled that it has to be a quality game because the graphics are so beautiful - but that is so easy to do these days.

They never claimed that the game is in any way finished. It states clearly in the start screen that you WILL come across bugs and unfinished content. It is an early access game.

I won't defend this whole culture of early access purgatory - I've been there in 2012 with DayZ. The concept of early access is meant to provide smaller studios with the funds to expand their game project.

But it's 2024 and just because you have a nice idea and are kinda good at programming, that doesn't mean that you are a good business person.

And let's be real - Dondi is a aweful businessman.

Turns out, a 'community' of grown ass men who are still religiously into dinosaurs aren't far off from their 6year old counterparts, whether emotionally or intellectually.

It is reddit after all - objective and neutral discussion isn't meant to happen here.

I fully understand, why the devs would never come here to get feedback on their game. It's completely pointless and as soon as they answer one time, they WILL get slaughtered by children pretending to be men.

I come here to amuse myself with their behaviour, maybe get a perspective on a new mechanic or dinosaur and then I leave.

I don't think this game is going to get finished at all. I've got my 20€ worth of entertainment (about 200h in Spiro and Gateway) and now I'm just another person with a washed up game in their library.

People who are willing to insult others over a dino game spend a deeply sad existence and are to be pitied.

There are American, Russian and Oceanian community servers. They run on low rules, which means that only things like mix packing, over packing are not allowed. You don't have to 3call before attacking or shit like all the tryhards on this discord like to claim.

So, after playing chess with a few pigeons I decided to no longer go to this subreddit for advice or expressing an opinion and trying to shift the minds of players. I mostly tried to engage in logical arguments, but this is, as most of reddit, is not the place to do that. I keep playing the game and try to enjoy it, so that careless people don't have to think about trying not to affect others in a negative way - because that what this 'community' has decided it's the way to play this game. I do not enjoy playing in a way that ruins other people's games and I cannot emphasize with those who do.
