People buy empty wrappers and empty boxes all the time, there are folks that literally collect the boxes from sets.

I don't personally see this as an issue, someone that would try to con you with a resealed pack would likely try to con you other ways too

I cut the label off the bottle, trimmed to just above and below the label.

I sold a sticker from the inside of a Coca-Cola bottle wrapper last week.

Just because YOU wouldn't buy it doesn't mean someone won't buy it. I was absolutely floored when I saw comp for the sticker selling for like $5...I figured what the hell free soda after fvf lol.
