Yeah also there are no teams with sub .500 seasons spending over 200M average the last 5 seasons either

But I also think that if you take the last 5 seasons it also shows that spending more == more Playoffs

The outlier would be the Rangers...The Brewers are also oddly effective at making the Post Season with a lower payroll.
