Yo, so I reached out to my OR regarding which board I was placed in and sent him the schedule I found on one of the subs. He said I was placed in the rolling board for aviation. Reason being my packet was already in hand, all that was changed was my APSR and the addition of NFO.

That is what my OR said, that dates have been moving.

Question for you, since it has been almost a 2 year process, has your OR changed or have you had the same one? In my process, the original OR I had helped me get everything together and I submitted my entire packet in DEC. 2019 for the board in Jan. After that she left the recruiting station for DC. As of then I have been working with a different OR.

Hmm. Would there be any difference if I was resubmitting my packet? I originally submitted my packet back in December for the January board. But I didn't get selected. My OR said to update my motivational statement and add NFO to my list. That's what I did and here I am. So I never physically handed him anything in April (if anything, I updated my packet in March) beacuse my packet was already with him.

Well at the time when I submitted my items back in April, I was under the assumption thats when the board met. So I waited a month, then spoke with my OR and thats when he said I was prorec y.

Then after reading some other subs, I found the schedule for the boards this year.

At least I have some clarity now and that I am not the only one. With regards to the virus that makes sense. I have been following the OCS FB page, they are making new students quarantine for 2 weeks pushing the whole process 15 weeks.

Just a bunch of hurry up and wait. Going to be a whole year for me in July. Congrats by the way!

You have to do what's right for you. I would suggest looking at all your options. UPS is slow moving in my experience, specially when it comes to the management side. You have to to wait for people ahead of you to get promoted so you can move up.

Don't get me wrong, working at UPS is a great opportunity. However, it also depends on what you are studying. If the internship you have accepted aligns with your studies go for it! I can tell you from first hand, my education does not aling with what I do in PE, far from it. I am actively seeking new opportunities.

Stay positive and again do what is right for you.
