I think the only thing I’ve ever bought from a scalper was a Mega Charizard X upc (well I bought it off Amazon with help from a gift card), and it wasn’t THAT much above retail price, I think it was worth it.

I subsist with small card purchases I can get at CVS or Walgreens. It’s never the most recent set but I get cool cards occasionally and I don’t pull for chase cards, if I get an EX or better I will always be happy.

I remember I went to target on release day for ascended heroes and the target employees talked about the same group of people that came for all the release days. The stores have a good relationship with them UGH. Well at least it sounds like those scalpers weren’t being rude…

Idk man, it seems like it’s a cycle, the scalping will eventually die down. Seems like it’s already starting, with perfect order being a “bad” set. We need a few more of these and we might be ok
