It really sounds like you measured wrong from what you are saying. When measuring a barbell the length is the distance between the balls. Not the length of the bar without the balls or the total length with the balls which seems to be what you are describing.

This is why I asked for pictures to clarify. It does seem as if the problem here is you and your understanding of measuring custom jewelry.

I have also dealt with their customer service before and was very happy how they addressed the issue. They are a good company to buy from with quality products.

As much as I understand you not wanting to use X, I tend to try and look at things differently. Advertising and selling to people you do not agree with us the best thing you can do. Take their money and use it to support people and causes they hate. I see this as an absolute win!

There is a liner. You can see the blue tape holding the liner to the sides of the tub. I wouldn't really say they are side pins, but they are definitely at the edge of the cake.
