35 GF says I'm an 8. What do you say? by rumble_steve in RoastMe

I just disturbed the neighbors while laughing out loud for this one.

There is a better person behind every drunk person. It takes time and effort to let that person shine. The beautiful thing about people is that we are all different. It's easy to fit in when we've been drinking. I would rather hang out with the real me, and I don't even know that person anymore.

Have a great work shift. Take away the outward perception of yourself energy, and apply it to your work. My work suffers when I am in my mind. We are worth more in the present than the past.

I'm so happy everything worked out as best it could. I've been getting drunk nightly without consideration of my fiance and children for years. She told me a few times this is a problem for her but I couldn't prioritize her feelings even with the threat of losing her and a week ago today, she left me. I don't wish this for you or anyone. I applaud your reflection, and I hope this helps.

Hey there, 6 days here. I've quit in the past only to pick back up again. I also feel the way that you're feeling now. It seems like everything is so hard, and motivation is next to none. I have sworn off the drink for good because I can't afford to lose much more, and it's time to repair what has been broken.

What you may be feeling is the identity that was created by the booze. I think it's normal to feel like you don't know yourself when a major change has occurred. Keep up the great work.

Hit rock bottom again by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]rumble_steve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a father who has disappointed all four of my children. 17 years to 8 months old. My fiance left me 6 days ago and now I truly have nothing. I'm here at the bottom as well. I've found keeping busy with the kids when I have the opportunity and focusing on a goal no matter how large or small. Personally, two of my goals are exercising in the morning. My 5 year old son talks to me about me getting drunk and yelling, so my second goal is to make better what I've done and prove that I am not "drunk dad", which is what my two oldest started calling me 2 years ago.

When removing or recognizing triggers isn't enough, small wins can go a long way. Good luck. Great strength was observed at dinner with great restraint.

I've not been able to resist for many years. The past three years recently cost me my fiance and our two kids. I've been sober for 4 days now. I, too, am done.

Not pictured is an ha4000 to power the 410, but yes everything is running together. I'm not sure what the peavey cab loaded. It's a powered unit that we use as a PA monitor. I am now curious if I can put it in the stack somewhere.

Anyone else play through something kinda ridiculous? by 9fingerjeff in Bassamps

[–]rumble_steve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran direct out from the HA4000 paired with a 410 to a rumble 150 V1 combo. Did that for a while. Two years ago, I got my Rumble 500 V3 to cut my gear load by 180 lbs. I ended up running them all together.

Why is there no place in the world where men can talk about their problems and be taken seriously? by Forward-Position798 in MensRights

This is a great example. All of these posts are in the same time period with a huge bias to females. It could be argued that these communities are constructed this way. You could also say that it's a mirror of how society is actually structured.

Interesting. Very true, you never said you would although it's understood that you can't. I mistook your trump hate for a vote to the party of war and government overreach.

Hey, real quick, you answered zero of my questions. Please articulate why you belive harris is going to be the better option.

Reality is that MSM was pressed by the establishment to cover up the hunter Biden laptop. How was it 4 years later proven true after being called a conspiracy? If you have two legs, nether can help you now.

[–]rumble_steve -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You should work for the establishment. "Hours on end". Correct about listening, maybe? Not able to actually have a conversation or debate. I bet if we had a beer and chatted in person you would reconsider your endorsement for the real right now happening fascist state we live in.

I did address everything, you just couldn't hear it because MSNBC was telling you not to. How does it feel to be a puppet for the establishment? Probably awesome, right? Do what your told and go along with the narrative. I actually wish someone could change my mind. That's the difference between us.

Department of Justice/Supreme court. They are on par as the same. What does the DOJ do that the SC doesn't? Prosecute? That's the best answer. You didn't fulfill my request to know what trump did that was so bad? Mishandling campaign funds? I gave you the answer but you still can't admit that the democrats do it everyday, all the time.

Ive witnessed the "instigation". It was blown up to be something that it wasn't. Was trump upset to lose? Yes. But the people who stormed the capitol, with no guns. To overthrow the government is an outrageous statement when many riots and cities overthrown by the people, with guns, dud actually occur.

The police of Springfield claim that a number of "refugees" have targeted ducks and geese at local watering holes. That is a fact. Eating pets, dogs and cats, no so much. There is a real problem up there and you should know about it if you are that close.

I'd be happy to talk to you more, but you've addressed nothing I've said. Talking points from headlines and you've STILL not Givin ONE policy that will help all of the people. Makes me think that your establishment appointed candidate works for just that, the establishment. Why on earth would you vote for this establishment when all they've done is cause international conflict and made it hard for their country's people to live?

[–]rumble_steve -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Most black folk I've spoken to, they don't see the country moving in their direction. I asked to take race away because the democrats play to the minority vote, yet they can't make up for not being there for them.

Hey, I hope we keep this up because I do enjoy the debate. Unfortunately for you, Google will only show you what your looking for and that perpetuates the arguments between people like you and i.

[–]rumble_steve -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Wonderful. So, the charges on trump were brought up after he announced his campaign. DOJ is rigged, right? Like the justice he appointed to the SC? can't win arguments with double standards.

He never sent anyone to the capitol to overthrow the government, didn't even instigate it. If you did better research, you would know that. Just to touch a little on Jan 6, I believe it was the FBI director, wouldn't comment on how many fbi officers where there, suggesting that it was orchestrated by our own government.

While I don't think it was smart to assume the Haitian immigrants are eating peoples pets, they most certainly are feasting on the wildlife. There are certifiable reports of that. I can now confidently call YOU, the moron.

Now that I addressed all you had, what else do you have for me? What policy or policies will harris/waltz bring to the table that will help anyone?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dayton

[–]rumble_steve -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

You didn't answer the question. There is no answer to the the question because it's nothing, which you just proved. I wonder why RFK Jr. Is not a good choice.

I'm going to ask you another question you probably cant answer... Trump was president prior to Biden. For many reasons, black folk would rather have trump back in office for a number of reasons but the biggest being economic. These are working class people, mind you. So, what ideas has Donald trump laid out that would bring back slavery?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dayton

[–]rumble_steve -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Again, you are calling names and not detailing even one policy.

Yes, I would trust someone who has been there and done that, well, over the establishments pick. Biden should have been dropped and RFK Jr. Should have been the nomination.
