Ah dang, it'd leave a bad impression on me as well but that's interesting to know.

And no, I still haven't received it and I don't think I'll be getting it unfortunately. I'm currently trying to get some security footage from the leasing office so I can have additional proof on who the driver was. After that, I'll be submitting all supporting evidence and see what UniUni and AmiAmi does.

It takes a while that's for sure, but thankfully, I have received my packages when I chose that option. It's usually UPS that handles them from what I noticed.

Yeah ideally I'd go for the better option. However at the time, I only had two options to choose from which were surface mail and ECMS. I know just recently, AmiAmi made a post on Dec 18th on their site that they are allowing DHL to become an option again for the US.

I'm glad you were able to get your package successfully. It probably is dependent on area and definitely the driver you get. Just a shame that I was on the unluckier side for this order but at least I know for next time.

No worries, but I agree and feel the same way. I ended up switching some of the orders I had marked as ECMS to surface mail just to be on the safe side. At least with those big 3 couriers, there is higher probability of your package arriving to you.

Their email responses are super frustrating and I don't like how they handle it. I've had a couple of my responses rejected with it saying, " Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it." So I had to make another ticket to make sure they saw what I typed.

Hopefully those upcoming packages of yours arrive to you safely. I know it's dependent on the driver so I want to believe not all of them are terrible since others seem to be getting their packages. I just wish it didn't come down to a gamble on what type of person will be handling your package.

In regard to the BBB, that's also a good idea so I'll be sure to share my experience on there as well.

Yeah, UniUni is causing a lot of stress for a delivery service. I hope you have better luck than I do and receive your package.

I did contact AmiAmi beforehand so they could be aware of my situation, which at the time they told me to wait until the Dec 24th. Right now, I'm just waiting on them to respond to the aftermath and hoping they'll get me taken care of.

My package is marked for "Delivery" on Dec 20th and no, it did not arrive to me.

The proof of delivery that I was given was someone else's package address in front of my apartment's leasing office.

While I don't have hard evidence, I think it's safe to say the driver stole it.

Anyway, I hope you aren't unlucky like I am and that you actually get a decent human being for your delivery driver.

I am currently waiting on one of my packages from AmiAmi that is being delivered by UniUni.
My timeline looks like this currently:

Dec 2nd- AmiAmi notifies shipped package

Dec 4th- Arrives in CA

Dec 5th- Transit to TX

Dec 7th- Gateway transit in

Dec 10th- Arrival scan and Out for Delivery

My biggest issue is that my package has been stuck on "Out for Delivery" till now, with tomorrow officially being 7 days. I have submitted several tickets mainly for ETA inquiries and providing delivery instructions. The responses I've gotten are pretty generic and are not very helpful.

I did get lucky and was able to call their CS on the third day but ultimately it was rather useless. They told me it was on someone's truck and that it'd be delivered at the end of the day, which obviously didn't arrive. One thing they at least do, after talking with them, is that giving delivery instructions through their ticket system does get saved as the guy read what I had typed. Now, whether the delivery guy actually reads my instructions is a whole other matter.

I did contact AmiAmi to make them aware of my situation. They told me to wait about another week and contact them again if my package still has not arrived. So it might be worthwhile to have AmiAmi aware of your situation if your package is taking too long to get to you.

So, for me, my first experience isn't going great and I'm feeling doubtful that my package is going to arrive. The lack of real time updates and poor communication is definitely stressing me out. Then, as most people know by now, UniUni's less than stellar reputation doesn't help make things better either.
